This process was invented by an Italian chemist, Luigi Brugnatelli in 1805, the first person to plate a thin coat of gold onto silver.
Gold plating is commonly used for costume jewelry or to mimic more expensive pieces. It is almost impossible to tell apart expensive pieces of gold jewelry from inexpensive gold plated imitations.
HFK carried out carbon neutral by re-thinking our packaging box.
HFK works with worldwide suppliers to make paper recycle. We collect waste paper, sorting, pulping, and turning used paper into HFK user manual and packaging box. In near future, HFK would remove tag, and user manual out of the box, you still can download them online.
This save lots of trees, and reduces carbon emissions and avoids the mining and use of precious materials. It also shrinks the package, allowing more boxes per shipment and fewer shipments overall. We’re transitioning our manufacturing partners to renewable energy as well. Altogether, this eliminates over 2 million metric tons of carbon emissions annually.
